Workshops

Context and Objective

The Brazilian Conference on Software: Practice and Theory (CBSoft) is an event annually promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) aiming at fostering the exchange of experience among researchers and practitioners from industry and academia about the most recent research, tendencies, and theoretical and practical innovations on software. Held since 2010 as an aggregating event of Brazilian symposia promoted by SBC on software, CBSoft has become one of the main conferences of the Brazilian scientific community on Computing.
In 2023, the 14th edition of CBSoft will be held in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul. It will integrate four traditional events annually promoted by the Brazilian community on Software Engineering and Programming Languages:
  • the 37th Brazilian Symposium on Software Engineering (SBES)
  • the 27th Brazilian Symposium on Programming Languages (SBLP)
  • the 17th Brazilian Symposium on Software Components, Architectures, and Reuse (SBCARS)
  • the 8th Brazilian Symposium on Systematic Automated Software Testing (SAST)
In addition, CBSoft program includes workshops related to these topics, providing a forum where academics and practitioners can exchange and discuss their experiences and ideas. Workshops traditionally realized in CBSoft can be promoted to pre-approved workshops. More details are presented in the specific topic of this call for proposals.

General Information

The definition of the workshops that will be part of CBSoft 2023 will be carried out by evaluation of the submitted proposals in a single PDF in JEMS system (https://jems.sbc.org.br/home.cgi?c=4295). Workshop proposals will be evaluated considering:

Each workshop can be scheduled for a half-day (3 hours) or a full day (6 hours). The workshop dates are going to be defined soon.
IMPORTANT: Workshop proceedings will be prepared by the workshop organizers together with the CBSoft organization team. Please note the deadline for delivering the workshop papers to the CBSoft organizing committee.
